Breguet Replica Watches

Breguet

Breguet replica watches have joined a rich history of a well-known watch-making company.

Abraham Louis Breguet was born in 1747 in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

He was to make successive or simultaneous incursions into all fields of watch making. His career got off to a spectacular start with a series of masterful coups: the development of the automatic watch, first commercialized in 1780; the invention of the gong spring which considerably reduced the width of repeater watches, followed by that of the first anti-shock device or pare-chute, which rendered watches less fragile and consequently more reliable.

His first major customer, the Duke of Orleans, bought one of his "perpétuelle"(automatic) watches in 1780. Two years later, the House of Breguet gained an even greater client, Marie-Antoinette.

With help of the queen's support, his reputation grew not only in France but all over the Continent. In 1784 he earned the title of Master Watchmaker.

Other famous wearers include Dumas' Count of Monte Cristo, Phileas Fogg, the time conscious hero of Jules Verne's Around the world in Eighty Days.

Since eighteenth century each Breguet watch is recorded with the name of the individual maker, the cost price, sale date and identity of the purchaser.

The Breguet House now possesses an exceptional legacy in the shape of archives which represent a constant source of inspiration for contemporary watch models. In harmony with the standards of technical excellence and visual harmony established by the maestro, it constantly innovates and makes a point of remaining ahead of its times. Only thus can it remain faithful to the pioneering spirit of Abraham Louis Breguet.

Today, we witness the appearance of high quality, engine-tuned by hand Breguet replica watches, often extra-flat, each with a unique production number.
